3. BUSINESS FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING
1. The previous meeting was the Society’s Inaugural General Meeting (IGM). Here, a brief summary will be provided to catch you up on the happenings of the Society.
4. BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
1. Any issues that were raised in the previous meeting minutes will be discussed here.
5. CORRESPONDENCE
1. Any correspondence received since the previous meeting will be raised here.
6. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS
1. This General Meeting will see a vote on the amendment of the Student Urbanism Society’s Constitution. The proposed changes to the Constitution of the Student Urbanism Society feature changes throughout, including various clarifications, broadening of society aims and activities, redistribution of executive duties and other formatting changes. These changes are proposed to better set the foundations of the society for its future plans and growth.

7. ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE
1. APPOINTMENT OF RETURNING OFFICER
1. A returning officer for the duration of this meeting shall be nominated by the Executive and this position will be held for the duration of this meeting.
2. ELECTION
1. Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions.
1. The Treasurer.
2. In light of the current Treasurer’s departure, nominations will be considered and voted upon for the Treasurer position. Members of the Society will be able to self-nominate for election and the position will be held until the Society’s AGM in May of 2025.
3. All nominated candidates will briefly speak on why they believe they are best suited for the position. Candidates running in absentia will submit a statement to be read out in the meeting by emailing Student.Urbanism.Society.Usyd@outlook.com
4. Please familiarise yourself with the duties of the Treasurer position if you intend to nominate yourself. They are to:
1. Maintain the Society’s finances in accordance with the handbooks produced by the Clubs & Societies Office of The University of Sydney Union;
2. Present to the Annual General Meeting of the Society a report detailing the financial activity and status of the Society; and
3. Ensure an adequate handover, including any documents and materials to the following Executive.

8. MOTIONS ON NOTICE
1. Any other issues/requests held by members or the executive will be raised here and followed with a motion if voted on.
9. GENERAL BUSINESS
1. NOMINATION OF BANK SIGNATORIES
1. The bank signatories must be changed as a result of the handover of the Treasurer position. In keeping with established practice, the newly elected Treasurer shall be nominated as the new bank signatory to replace the outgoing Treasurer. This nomination shall be voted on.
2. SOCIETY UPDATE
3. The President will provide a general update on the Society, progress on current initiatives, and planning for 2025.
